NJ Politician Joseph Doria Out Amid Corruption Probe
Wow, what a corruption probe in New Jersey (I know, shocking isn’t it?). Lots and lots of folks rounded up by the FBI in a big raid earlier today, and as a result, Governor Corzine’s likely spent the better part of his afternoon reading arrest reports and resignation letters. One of those letters was from former Jersey Department of Community Affairs Commissioner Joseph Doria. NJ.com’s saying that Doria (a former state senator) “is not among the 44 people identified as charged in the corruption investigation.” Corzine wanted him out anyway. I’m thinking we don’t quite have the whole story yet. Stay tuned.
Springsteen is probably holed up in a little closet in Rumson furiously scribbling out lyrics for another “Atlantic City.”
