One of the (many) things I’ve missed writing about the most over the past year or so - movie reviews. I’m a terrible critic - no way I can tell you specifically why I loved or didn’t love a movie without going on and on and ON about crap you don’t care about. However, I love to write about what real movie critics have to say about films. Good, bad, ugly. Doesn’t matter. Just makes me happy.

So yesterday my heart soared when I got a chance to write about reviews of ”Inception.” YAY. Literally, this made my writing day. And it didn’t hurt that the reviews, so far, have been pretty bleepin’ positive. I can assure you I’ve been waiting for this movie for a long time. Christopher Nolan, if you’re out there I’m going all fan-girly and saying you are My. Fave. Evah. Wally Pfister? You are a genius, sir - I am in awe. I own every movie these two ever collaborated on…and I am pretty sure I’ll own this one too.

As for the reviews - critics throwing around teases about bits of ”The Matrix,” ”Memento” and (gasp) ”Blade Runner?!” I was planning on going a few days after Inception opens - now I’ll be there for the FIRST showing. Yes yes. You start throwing around ”Blade Runner” and I’m going to sprint to the theater. Might even buy snacks there, instead of smuggling them in my ginormous handbag (burrito wrappers, by the way, make way too much noise during quiet movie scenes).

After suffering through yet another damn ”Twilight” movie, ”Inception” shall be my reward.
